China's smart phone company Xiaomi has confirmed that it is discontinuing software updates to its two popular smartphones. Redmi Note 3 and Xiaomi Mi 5, launched in 2016, are two smartphones for which the company will no longer issue software updates. The company said that the MIUI Global ROM update will be the last update for both of these smartphones, i.e. they will not get MIUI 11 updates.

Now you may be wondering what is the last reason that Xiaomi had to make this big decision. So let's say that the company is launching many of its smartphones every year, with the release of software updates for everyone as well. These software updates not only cost the company a lot, but also spend a lot of time in it. The second thing is that both the phones have been around 3 years old.

Those who are unaware of this, let them know that the time the Chemo Mi 5 smartphone was launched, this was the most expensive smartphone in India. The launch time was priced at Rs 24,999. With the 5.15 inch display, the phone has 820 Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.

At the same time, there is a 5-inch full HD display, 16 megapixel back camera and front camera 5 megapixels. At the launch, its 16 GB variant was priced at Rs 9999 and the 32 GB variant was priced at Rs 11,999.
